How coy of them to change the name to COI. Smart Girl Nation awaits the new company’s press releases, including the mission statement of best practices policies, and transparency of the books.
The Al-Qaida in the politically fragile Pakistan makes an uneqivocal threat against the United States, with the leader, Mustafa Abul-Yazeed, saying he would use the nuclear weapons of Pakistan against the US. As this region continues to show instability ratcheting up since the assassination of Pakistani opposition leader, Benazir Bhutto, December, 2007. Arabic media outlet, AL-Jazeera, reported of the direct threat made against the US, reports UPI.com, here.
Much debate on Capitol Hill continues regarding a proposition in the development stages of the value-added tax, the VAT, where each step of product creation and sales involves a tax on the companies making products. This tax comes up in discussion because of a need to pay for the possible health care reform. This, will increase prices, the production costs are shifted to the end buyers.
Pew Research is announcing recent polling of Americans who are overwhelmingly seeing the job market down turn as in bad shape and getting worse. Perception is everything in politics, especially with those citizens not tuned in nor reading much online. Views are crystallizing around a sense of worry and the economic conditions remain top of the list for those polled.
Independent voters, officially registered as not loyal to either dog in the the two-party fight, are increasingly concerned about the Obama Administration. There is a desire amongst those voters to see an efficient not controlling government There is also a growing fear about the economy, federal deficit spending, as Obama’s approval numbers are dropping and disapproval’s on the rise:
