Smart Girl Politics Applauds Letterman for Finally Apologizing to Gov. Palin for Coarse ‘Joke’

Media Release – June 16, 2009 – WASHINGTON, DC -  Smart Girl Politics applauds David Letterman for finally realizing the seriousness of his sexual and horrifying ‘joke’ at the behest of Governor Sarah Palin’s underage daughter.  While overdue, we are gratified to see that Mr. Letterman understands that exploiting underage children for any reason is unacceptable.

We commend Governor and Mr. Palin for their grace in handling this situation on behalf of parents of young children everywhere. Smart Girl Politics hopes this will help adults understand the gravity of their words in the future.
