Stop Congress: Healthcare Bill Passes House

Did you watch the House vote last night? It made my stomach knot up. The flippant, strutting leaders of this nation paraded a false litany of promises. It was quite a show, done in true grand style. Who is going to pay for this? Who? My children? Santa Claus? and that’s not the least of our worries. Who is going to save us from our no-doubt well-intentioned, yet ominously all-powerful nanny state?
Congress has been flirting with out and out socialism in our banking industry, automobile industry, cap and trade and now with our health care. Socialism is a failed system! What are they doing?
Socialism will subvert and destroy this nation, its freedom and its families.
This administration has been pampering, protecting and promoting a socialistic agenda since they took office last year. The speed in which this administration is going down the road of socialism continues to increase even with sustained vocal and demonstrative opposition. There cannot be any doubt in the minds of these politicians that the opposition to Socialized Medicine is great, yet they passed it anyway— and had the gall to cheer and shout as they did it!
Now it’s time for a change.
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world, indeed it is the only thing that ever has!” –Margaret Mead
If there’s anything I’ve realized, it’s that who we vote for makes all the difference. Our guys stood up and did all they could. Did yours? Here’s the final vote so you can see how your congressional representative voted on the government takeover of the American health care system: http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2009/roll887.xml
If your congressman voted against the people, it’s time to vote him out and give the government of the people—back to the people, where it belongs.
